Salt Lamps - A Salt Lick For Cats?
Here are some pictures of Tigger, the cool cat companion of John our webmaster. Tigger loves to lay next to the pyramid salt lamp on top of John's desk, and even on top of his computer monitor. Now of course he likes the heat put out by the monitor, but cats are pretty smart and I bet they know that being near negative ions is a good thing.
You will also notice Tigger licking the salt lamp. While Tigger enjoys a good diet, he also knows that licking a salt lamp can provide him with all the minerals that his Daddy needs, and I'm guessing many or all of the minerals that his body needs as well. They have salt licks for horses, right? Well, the salt lamp on top of this desk is Tigger's salt lick, and also a great ionizer and a beautiful source of light.
I'm sure you don't want to lick a himalayan salt lamp (though you certainly could) but you don't have to. We have himalayan consumption salt that makes it easy to get the benefits of natural himalayan salt into your diet.

You are right! When I first brought home my himalayan salt crystal lamp, my two cats chose to sleep next to it, and they licked it too!

I just received my order that I ordered and I am so happy. They make lovely lamps as well as beneficial for your health of everyone around. I am looking at buying another one for my Golden Retriever Lewey, to have closer to him near his beds..I am sure it would be beneficial for him as well.
